No football this weekend on the main Ellgia Stadium pitch as all three sides in action are on the road. Crusaders Mini League Football is taking place this morning on the outer pitches.
The Robins first string will be hoping to build on their impressive win last weekend at home to Thetford Town when they travel to Suffolk to take on Ipswich Wanderers . Part of the problem this season more than most is the side have not been able to go on a good winning run and need to find their consistency to achieve their potential for the remainder of the season
The Wanderers currently sit in a relegation place being third to bottom and with only two wins to their name in the league this season. Saying that games like these have been the sides achilles heel over the last few years and the Robins losing last year season to a last minute goal in the same fixture the incentive should be there for all to come back home with three points. Kick off at Humber Doucy Lane is 3pm
The Reserve side are taking part in the next round of the Cliff Bullen Challenge Cup away to Wisbech St Mary Reserves. WSM play in Senior B but should not be underestimated as was proven during the week when the first team had a hard fought game against the Saints first string. Kick Off at Beechings Close is 1:45pm
Finally, Nigel Smith takes his Under 16 side to Essex to take on Stanway Rovers who currently lay in 2nd spot. The Robins are currently in 5th place, but only have three points to show for all their efforts this season Kick Off at Stanway School 3G is 2:30pm
